Future of Work Town Hall Host | Will Glover, Associate Producer, One Detroit
For Detroit Public TV’s Future of Work initiative, One Detroit news and current events producer Will Glover leads conversations with business, economic, education, human resources, and policy experts to dive deep into Michigan’s workplace, workforce and the work itself to understand how we could create, retain and attract the talent needed to innovate and make Michigan a competitive top ten state across multiple industries.
Glover studied film at Eastern Michigan University and received his Associate Degree in Digital Video Production & Documentary Film from Washtenaw Community College. Whether it’s underwriting voice-overs or producing stories for One Detroit, you’ll hear his voice throughout Detroit Public TV programming. Glover’s focus is on his craft: finding the stories and voices that capture the truth.

Dr. Britany Affolter-Caine is the executive director of Michigan’s University Research Corridor (URC), an alliance of Michigan State University, the University of Michigan and Wayne State University. As one of the nation’s top university innovation clusters, the URC is a leading engine for innovation in Michigan and the Great Lakes region. Prior to the URC, Britany was the talent director for Ann Arbor SPARK, director of Intern In Michigan at the Detroit Regional Chamber and a senior research associate for the Metropolitan Policy Program of the Brookings Institution on the Great Lakes Economic Initiative.
Panelist | Jennifer Llewellyn, Director, Oakland County Michigan Works! and Manager, Oakland County Workforce Development
Jennifer Llewellyn is the Director of Oakland County Michigan Works! and the Manager of Workforce Development at Oakland County. Known for her innovative and inclusive approach to workforce development, she has over 20 years of experience in workforce development programs, career management and business workforce solutions. She is responsible for over 40 federal, state, and local job training programs totaling $18 million annually.
Llewellyn is the Board Co-Chair of the Workforce Intelligence Network, a member of the Automation Alley Fund Board, and a member of the Pontiac Funders Collaborative and the OU-Pontiac Initiative. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Development from Oakland University, is a Certified Career Development Facilitator and is a Certified Business Solutions Professional.
